This is a video of me talking about alternative subcultures + aesthetics and representation of BIPOC's and black women within them. I chat about witchcraft symbology in gothic/goth subculture, rant about aesthetics like cottagecore, dark academia, light academia, forestcore, otaku, gamer, weeabu, emo, e-girl and other aesthetics. This is a video essay discussing BIPOC representation in classic media (shows, films, music, literature, manga, anime, cartoons) as well as representation in modern media (social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Tumblr.)
