Spalted Beech Bud Vase - Episode 29

My first ever go at turning Oak. Until now I've never turned anything other than softwood left over form the workshop build, pallet wood and just about anything I could find. I think that Pine has a very nice grain to it especially when you give the piece a little colour. When I turned the Oak I was amazed at just how nice the grain is.

The finish was Shellac Sanding Sealer and two coats Woodwax 22.
