Enhancing health communication through the arts: Michelle J Kwan at TEDxRyersonU
Michelle J. Kwan is a recent graduate from Ryerson University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food. She also graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts. Her interdisciplinary approach unites the arts with health, providing a meaningful way for people to better understand their health and achieve wellness. Michelle talks about how art can empower individuals to take an active role in being healthy, and how health professionals can approach health science from a unique perspective to engage the public. In this talk, Michelle J. Kwan discusses using art as a tool to make health education more accessible and relatable to people.
