Rescue of Zongoloni | Sheldrick Trust

A victim of the on-going elephant poaching crisis, our Teams were called to rescue Zongoloni after her mother collapsed from a gunshot wound. At just 18 months old, Zongoloni had remained helplessly by her mother's side, becoming more and more weakened having been without water or food for some time.
