This collection of piano pieces, composed by Kyrylo Stepanenko and performed by Vitaliy Dvorovyi, is a reflection on resilience and remembrance. Each movement, distinct in its emotional tone, carries a narrative of courage and reflection. Particularly, the third piece, "Adagio," is a solemn dedication to the victims of the war in Ukraine, aiming to convey both the depth of loss and the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

About the Project
Music by young Lviv composers, written during the full-scale war, sounds like the voice of youth who live and reflect, dream, fight, and continue to create.
The concert of student composers is a continuation of the "Music of Young Composers" project, which started in 2020 at the Lviv Organ Hall. As part of the strategy to promote Ukrainian classical music, Ukrainian Live, in collaboration with the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy and the Lviv Organ Hall, the project introduces young artists and presents their work.
This is music on the edge of time. A reflection of the present and a temporary escape into a parallel reality, it is a chronicle of the war intertwined with memories from peaceful life and dreams of victory.
