A drive along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Rd., from the Paseo de Sta Rosa area starting from Laguna Blvd. intersection to the Nuvali intersection. Video above was taken in the summer of 2010, turning left on Nuvali Blvd. toward Nuvali Estate where a Kite Festival was held in Nuvali grounds on which now stand buildings of the Solenad Mall and Landers Store. Video below was taken in March 2024 and shows the road now lined with more buildings, fast food stores and the Vista Mall (on a lot once full of banana plants), before turning right on Nuvali Blvd. toward Laguna Blvd/(Laguna Technopark). FOURTEEN YEARS and the once quiet and clean-looking area of Sta. Rosa, Laguna, looks dirtier with trash on the sidewalks, islands and the occasional beggars at the Laguna Blvd intersection. Depressing.
