Modern Improv Scrap Quilt - Using Ruby Star Society Fabric Scraps!

I made this throw size improv quilt for a friend’s wedding. I knew I wanted to make her a modern quilt and I knew I needed to finish it relatively quickly. I made the quilt top in 3 evenings and finished the whole thing in less than a week including quilting and binding.

I forgot to say it in the video but this is basically a large scale version of a crumb quilt block so have a look at my crumb quilting video linked below as well.

I loved making this scrappy improv quilt and playing with putting the sections together and seeing it come together. I always seem to like the quilts that are the easiest to make the best!

I used a fleece quilt backing and I’ll link to another video about that below. I also pieced the batting from some leftover sections from other quilts. I have a video for that too linked below.
