The Art of Survival | Dr. Hussein A. Bulhan | TEDxHargeisa

Dr. Bulhan’s Art of Survival lessons were influenced by turning points in his life. Once an orphan who was forced to witness the public execution of people from his community, he now holds two Bachelor Degrees, two Master Degrees and a PhD. He gave up his tenure at a prestigious university and returned home where he founded a University and a Medical Practice. His message of "Help others, help yourself" is universal. Dr. Bulhan is a graduate of Wesleyan University, Boston University, and Harvard University. He is the Founder and President of Frantz Fanon University in Hargeisa, Somaliland. He is the author of several major publications and numerous articles, including Frantz Fanon and Psychology of Oppression.
