The subject of this video is the exotic durian fruit.

Durian tree, native to Southeast Asia, grows in Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and the Southern part of the Philippines. To many people, it is considered as the "king of fruits." The size of a ripe durian fruit is about 6 to 12 inches in diameter --- about the size of a coconut.

The edible flesh emits a distinctive odor, strong and penetrating even when the husk is intact. Because its smell could permeate in the entire room or aircraft cabin, some passenger airliners would not accept uploading durian as checked-in or carry-on-board luggage!

In my opinion, it is the smell, more than the taste, that defines the distinction of the durian fruit.

You need to experience the smell of its "aroma" (or perhaps odor) and judge for yourself whether it is acceptable, tolerable, or delectable to your olfactory senses.
