SINTRA, Portugal: Lisbon getaway | Iconic inverted tower (vlog 2)

Sintra, in Portugal, is a charming community in the metropolitan area of Lisbon. We're on a day trip from Lisbon and in this part 2 video, you'll see the famous inverted tower inside Quinta da Regaleira. That's how it's popularly known, but this construction was actually the initiation well for the Knights Templar, a fraternal order affiliated with Freemasonry. Needless to say, there's a lot of symbology not only in the well but in the entire Quinta da Regaleira itself.

But first..... 😋😋 We start the afternoon (and the vlog) with a nice lunch, followed by a sip of the famous Port Wine (vinho do Porto). Gordon went for chicken with salad and fries, but my choice couldn't be different: codfish cakes (pasteis de bacalhau). They're so typical in Portugal, and on our last full day, I needed some more codfish 😁
