Two Experiences, One Journey: USA to Qatar in Business Class and Economy

What's the difference between a business class flight and an economy flight? Due to different work schedules, that's how Gordon and I ended up traveling from the USA to Qatar. I had a direct flight Miami-Doha on Qatar Airways, and he flew from Fort Lauderdale with connections in Charlotte and New York on American Airlines. Now, do you think business class is worth the price?
