Freezing Big Mountain Wild Camp With A Veteran Friend | Helvellyn | Mountain Rescue | Bad Weather

In this video me and an old friend take on the mighty Helvellyn Mountains in the Lake District, in treacherous cold weather.
We took a battering from, 35/40mph winds, snow drifts and sub zero temperatures plummeting to -12.
However the tents held their own and the views were spectacular which made being in the harsh elements worth it.
To make the trip a little bit more comfortable in the evenings we cooked up some good tucker while washing it down with a few cold beers and wine.
