Electric Porsche 911 project video 17 - what way will I mount my Nissan Leaf motor in my Porsche 996

Crunch time...after weeks of analysing how to fit the Nissan Leaf Motor into my Porsche 911, it's time to commit to a path and start actually working towards fitting the motor into the Porsche.

Last weeks effort taking the angle grinder to the Nissan Leaf motor has worked well and left us with two options. I'm going to work through those two options and then make a decision on which one to do and start the initial fabrication to get this electric motor into my Porsche 996.

We do builds and projects with electric motors and on electric vehicles, with a focus on electric car conversions. The automotive world is moving towards electric cars at a great pace, but a lot of these are focussed on the mass market or are very expensive performance vehicles.
