Interestingly, Japanese schoolchildren from Yogano, Japan, contributed to its funding and even provided a Seiko-branded clock face for the tower .

Standing at 32 meters tall, the Ghanta Ghar is a four-story tower built from brick and stone. The clock, installed by the renowned English manufacturer Smith of Derby, features four faces, each facing a different direction .
