Luminar Lidar Stock IPO Merger With SPAC Gores Metropoulos (Buy GMHI Stock?)

Luminar has plans to merger with SPAC Gores Metropoulos (GMHI Stock), which will lead to the combined company remaining listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "LAZR" stock. In this video I'm going to be talking all about Luminar stock and if I'm going to be buy GMHI stock.

Luminar is in the Lidar technology space, which is targeted for the autonomous driving automobile industry. The lidar technology is very complicated and boring (IMO) so I'm not going to talk about it much.

What I do think is important is Velodyne Lidar, merging with GRAF. Graf stock is now at nearly $30, from $10, giving the company a market cap of over $5B. Luminar is being valued at a market cap of $3.4B ish and is still trading very conservatively to this at about $12.50 at the time of writing this beauty.

Personally I think one of the next "hot" industries could be this technology for self-driving cars, because we've already seen the hype and explosion of all the ev stocks no matter how solid of a company, and I wouldn't be surprised to see investors switching the flow and hopping on the Lidar technology stocks like Luminar (GPHI Stock). Just my prediction, but we'll see what happens.
