Pamela T. Mullings Celebration of Life Memorial Service

Pamela Theresa Mullings (Nee Bodden) died on December 8, 2021, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A.

She is survived by her husband Reginald Mullings, of thirty years, Daughter Denise, granddaughter Mya, brothers, Barrington Bodden, George Bodden, Anthony Bodden, Kenneth Bodden Jr, Charles Bodden, sisters, Yvonne Dawkins, Janet Davis, Ava Bodden, Venice Sinclair, niece Giselle Bodden and nephews, Kirk Kerr and Andre Bodden, cousins, other nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pamela T. Mullings was born on October 30th, 1953, in Kingston, Jamaica, to parents Kenneth Bodden and Miriam Golding. She graduated from St. Josephs Girls School in Jamaica and later completed her training as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CAN). In the early 1980’s she migrated to the United States of America and resided in New York and later moved to Florida where she resided until her passing.

She worked in various positions as a CNA caring for the elderly. Her most treasured memories serving the elderly was at Nassau Extended Care, where she worked for more over a decade.

She was a great and loving mother to her daughter Dense and her cherished granddaughter Mya. She married Reginald Mullings in September 1991 and the quickly embraced her extended family of Sheldon, Sean and Sidoney.

She was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in arranging many family events and was always the first the plan the menu and the first in the kitchen planning and preparing the food. She enjoyed cooking, caring and serving others, she had a big heart and would usually worry too much about the wellbeing of others.

A funeral is scheduled for December 19th 2021, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317, interment will follow immediately after the service in the Forest Lawn Gardens. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our relatives and friends for their prayers and support during this difficult time, whether you sent a text, WhatsApp message, email, called or visited us. The family would like to express sincere thanks to all those, who have been a great source of support and understanding throughout Pamela’s illness especially the staff at Memorial Hospital

Pamela will be dearly missed.
