Vaccination started on Dec 20th 2020
More than a million people have received both shots.
More than 2.6 million people have received one shot.
After the high risk folks, Israel is now administering vaccine to over 40 and high school students to enable them to go back to school.
Military reserves are helping with the rollout.

Results are biased because the people receiving the vaccine are already more careful of their risk and better informed.

Israel is leading the world in vaccination
Population of Israel is about 9.3 millions (reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Israel)
Israel has administered 3.9 million doses. (More than 40% of the population.)
42.92 doses for each 100 people. Best in the world so far.
More than 75% of its older population is now vaccinated at least with one dose.

Israel signed a contract with Pfizer to provide vaccination data in return for an early and a steady supply of the vaccine doses.

13-21 days after the first shot 60% reduction in infections.
For 50,777 people vaccinated
On day 23rd (two days after the second shot,) 60% drop in hospitalizations.

On Monday (Jan 25th 2021) Israeli health ministry and Maccabi released new data.
Out of 428,000 people vaccinated
A week after only 63 people (0.014%) were infected.
Out of 128,000 people that are vaccinated.
A week after only 20 people (0.01%) were infected.
