Woodturning - KNOT Sure How That Stayed Together !!

In this video I make Goblet from a piece of Burr Elm and carved a knot into the stem .. Probably not the best choice of wood for something like this but after a bit of resin work on some hidden splits it just about held together .. I finished it with a gloss spray lacquer..
