Harry and Meghan 'are insulting' America: Nigel Farage
Prominent British politician Nigel Farage says Prince Harry is "insulting" his adoptive nation after the royal said America's First Amendment is "bonkers" during a recent podcast.
The duke was speaking to actor Dax Shepherd and producer Monica Padman on the Armchair Expert podcast.
Prince Harry said the media has too much power when it comes to access and speech, in comparison to stricter libel and privacy laws that exist in the UK.
"I don't want to start going down the First Amendment route because that's a huge subject and one which I don't understand because I've only been here a short time.
"But, you can find a loophole in anything."
The First Amendment encompasses a lot of basic freedoms, but most critically, it governs free speech.
Prince Harry, his wife Meghan and son Archie have settled in California in the aftermath of the couple decision to stop working as royals.
