How to Wax Cheese: The "Don't Try This at Home" Method

This is how I wax my hard cheeses. Do not walk away from hot wax on the stove. If you are using an electric stove, you may want to slide the pan to another burner to get it off the heat.

Get creative! Sometimes it looks nice to make the top and bottom one color and use a different color on the sides.

Cheese wax is more flexible than beeswax and other kinds of wax. It is readily available online at any cheesemaking supply store.
