The World's Hardest Game in 2021

Welp, my Discord friends have been begging me to play the first World's Hardest Game for a good while. I don't think I'll try going for Aaron's world record of 5:14 and deathless, but I think I'm personally quite happy with my results.

Lemme say, for a game that's supposed to be The World's Hardest, there are some exploits that make it a lot easier. Some of the levels can be won just by moving along a certain path immediately when the level begins. Hitboxes are rather lenient, except at the midpoints of the edges. Thankfully, this was fixed in later installments (for better or for worse).

The World's Hardest Game is a Flash Game made in 2007 by Stephen Critoph. I am using the Speedrun edition of the game, made by a lad named Pzula. The speedrun version adds an in-game timer, as well as hotkeys that let you navigate between the levels easily (but be warned, hotkeys are NOT ALLOWED on a speedrun attempt).

This game does NOT use Drive By, by Train, as background music. I was merely listening to that song on repeat as I was playing the game. It's surprisingly fitting, actually.
