How to Open Kia Seltos Hood?

Opening the Kia Seltos hood is a straightforward two-step process. First, locate the primary hood release lever inside the cabin. This lever is typically found on the driver's side, positioned low down near the kick panel or under the dashboard, often marked with a car hood symbol. Pull this lever firmly towards you; you'll hear a distinct click, and the hood will pop up slightly. Next, proceed to the front of your Seltos. The hood will be ajar, creating a small gap. Carefully reach into this gap, usually near the center or slightly to the left or right of the emblem, to locate the secondary safety latch. This latch often feels like a small lever or tab that you need to push up or slide to the side. Once this secondary latch is disengaged, you can fully lift the hood. Finally, secure the hood in the open position using the attached prop rod, slotting it into the designated hole for safety.
