Jimmie Johnson: The Infinite Regression of a 7 Time Champ

November 20th, 2016 was a special day for the sport of NASCAR, and Jimmie Johnson’s career. He tied Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty with his 7th championship, winning the Ford 400. It snapped a lot of his career criticisms away, and he was arguably the greatest driver of all time. As of recent, however, the 48 has steadily regressed on the leaderboard. Once a driver and team winning races and championships, missed the playoffs for the first time ever. Today, it’s time to analyze that Infinitive Regression, and how we got to this point.
