From the 1960s-1970s, Richard Petty was the standard driver on the racetrack. He earned 200 wins, 7 NASCAR Championships, and is easily one of NASCAR’s all time greats behind the wheel. When you look at more recent times, however, the #43 has been more of a Legacy Ride struggling to crack the top 20 most weekends.
