Drums and fire in the streets of Inverness for Hogmanay 2023/24 parade to Red Hot Highland Fling

Crowds lined the streets around Falcon Square in Inverness to watch the start of the parade through the City to the Red Hot Highland Fling extravaganza on Hogmanay 2023/24.

This fantastic event with thundering drums and fire displays was started by Inverness and Area Provost, Cllr Glynis Campbell Sinclair, who lit the sword carried by a member of Scottish fire show PyroCeltica. The parade included members of Inverness and area Pipe Bands, PyroCeltica and Harbinger Drumming Group. The parade was then followed through the City centre to the Northern Meeting Park, where the Red Hot Highland Fling too place. Lots more from this to follow soon.
