Trying to figure out why the rear brake doesn't work on the 2000 Kawasaki Super Sherpa dual sport motorcycle. I initially thought that the brakes just needed bleeding, but then realized that wasn't the case. This type of master cylinder, Nissin, is very common, and is installed on many dirt bikes. Honda CR & XR, Yamaha YZ, Kawasaki KX, Suzuki RM, and others use some variation of it. One Take.

23:43 Be careful about what chemicals you put on brake seals and o-rings. If you use something not compatible, it can ruin the rubber parts. That being said, I have no idea if that spray lubricant is safe for brake parts. I washed it off quickly afterward though with brake fluid.
