The Doberman Security Mini Window Alert Alarm can fix itself to any window, door, or wall and is activated by vibration, impact, or loud noise. Its small size makes an excellent discrete option for having an alarm on a window. The backside of the alarm is made of a strong adhesive that has remained on the windows when outside temperatures reach 112ºF. The backside features a red "Doberman Security" warning label to ward of any burglars. It offers a 100 decibel alarm that hurts your ears when nearby and will most definitely make an intruder think twice. The alarm can be turned on or off with a simple switch. I tested the Doberman Security Window Alert Alarm by hitting the window from the inside, outside, and by making a loud noise outside. All instances resulted in the Window Alert Alarm being activated. I even struck the window pane adjacent to the window pane that has the alarm on it and it set it off (and that is without actually breaking the glass). When the alarm is activated it will sound for 30 seconds before it ceases. It can also be stopped manually by flipping the off switch.

While these window alert alarms will not completely stop an intruder, it will allow for anyone inside to be alerted to the presence of someone attempting to gain access to the house. It will buy you time to get a weapon, secure your family, and call the police. If no one is home, the window alert alarms may cause a burglar to forget about breaking and entering due to it drawing attention. Just the Doberman Security adhesive backing on the alarm could cause a burglar to choose another target.
