There are a total of 42 Spider-Bots to collect in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. They can first start being collected after the main mission "Spider-Spy?" in which you will automatically collect the first Spider-Bot in that mission. The other 41 Spider-Bots are spread out over New York.

They are not marked on the map, but the Spider-Bots ping a shockwave every few seconds to help in finding them. This guide will show you where all the Spider-Bots are in Spider Man 2, which will unlock the "Funky Wireless Protocols" trophy for Solving the Mystery of the Spider-Bots origin.

None of them are missable, and you can collect them at anytime after unlocking them to collect on the map. You get decent XP and tech parts for collecting them so it's worth doing this early on.
