Welcome back to The Global Life!

As you've noticed this video is a bit different than the previous ones. It is my hope that as time goes I can launch a new channel which will touch on healthy living habits for pilots. In these crazy times where we're all stuck at home (thank you #COVID19...) we should more than ever pursue healthy mind and body so as to be ready to get back on the saddle even stronger!

That being said, let's dive into the more important part of this video!

HOT WX OPS in the GLEX

The Global Express is limited to operations up to 50°C. Dubai had us testing the limit, hovering between 42-43°. The APU itself is restricted to 45°C OAT if we're going to pull bleed air from it for air conditioning so we had to use an air conditioning cart to supplement.

The number of A380s in OMDB is staggering to say the least, but it was something to see! Now that I've visited Dubai, I can't say that I'm eager to go back... the heat was a bit extreme. But I'm thankful nonetheless for the experience!
