Dr.Chandra Singh is a Professor and Head of Urology Unit I of Urology at CMC Vellore. He has done advanced training in Pediatric Urology, to take care of urological problem of babies and children, from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He completed his MBBS, MS and MCh from CMC Vellore. He was awarded the Jacob Chandy Gold Medal for the best clinical student during his MBBS, University Gold Medal for MS General Surgery as well as MCh Urology, gold Medal for the National Board Examinations in Urology. At Columbus where he trained in Pediatric Urology he was awarded "Surgical house officer of the year". Subsequently, at CMC Vellore, he was the recipient of the Best Teacher Award. He was the Associate Editor of the Indian Journal of Urology and the Founding Member of Uroeducation, an international Yahoo Groups based educational platform for urology learning. He is currently the Associate Director for Finance at CMC, Vellore.
