Brief HISTORY of Granberg Sharpeners: Elof Granberg introduced the FIRST hand held 12 volt sharpener, the G912 to the chainsaw accessory market in the 70’s. The origins of the G1012XT all started with our G106B File-N-Joint which Elof invented in 1957 after finding how inaccurate hand sharpening was while working as a contract logger after WWII. He saw a problem and created a solution. The G1012XT is a combo of the G106B plus a the essential parts of the G912 hand held grinder.
