Wetland Scientist Interview - Doug Wilcox
The primary goal of Wetland Interviews is to share lessons learned, challenges, and experiences in wetland research and conservation. To facilitate the knowledge exchange of wetland science, we interview researchers and practitioners worldwide. This interview is conducted by Roy Messaros, Coastal and Hydraulic Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers, interviewing wetland legend Dr. Douglas Wilcox. We follow Dr. Wilcox's career journey from childhood interests to his current work as a professor at Stonybrook University in NY as he tells stories of his valuable experiences and insights along the way. He also discusses his new book, Wetland Legends. Enjoy!
