RV Travel Vlog 10 | Tire Disaster Avoided and Visiting Mesa Verde, Pagosa Springs, Durango, & Monument Valley

After an unforgettable stay in Moab, it was finally time to hit the road and continue our full-time RV adventure with a quick detour through Colorado and back into Utah! In this episode, we leave the red rock desert behind and head to one of America's most fascinating national parks before soaking away our worries in some of the best hot springs in the country.

Our journey takes us through Mesa Verde National Park, home to some of the best-preserved and biggest ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings in North America, including the incredible Cliff Palace. From there, we make our way to Pagosa Springs for a much-needed spa day and relaxing soak in the town's famous geothermal hot springs. We did get our first ever “knock” while boondocking in a spot we thought was safe but was actually private property…

Next, we explore the historic mountain town of Durango before heading south to the iconic Four Corners Monument, the only place in the United States where four states meet at a single point. You do have to pay to get in here - was it worth it? Watch to find out what we think.

The adventure continues as we drive into one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the American Southwest. We stop at the famous Forrest Gump Point, tackle the jaw-dropping views from Moki Dugway, and explore the stunning backcountry scenery of Valley of the Gods all in the area of the legendary Monument Valley.

Not everything went according to plan, though. During our travels we discovered a dangerous bubble forming in one of our trailer tires—a first for us and a potential disaster waiting to happen. Watch as we figure out our issue and try to remedy it.

While we absolutely loved exploring this region, the desert heat was starting to wear on us, and we were more than ready to continue our journey toward cooler temperatures and new adventures.
