Dead Games: Legend of the Five Rings: CharGen Comparison: 1st and 5th edition

I compare making a character in the first and latest edition of L5R, my favorite TRPG. In the interest of not boring anyone to death, the times of completion are at 16:45 and 42:41.
......I tried. No way to make it shorter without the Gestapo or a Competition.

Notes:
Yes, i do more than just make the characters, but it balances out all the same. Also, battery died so i had to change it. okay, that happens.
I mispronounced the personality type. Tsukkomi, not Tsukumori. What was i thinking?
