Dead Games: Fantasy Wargaming by Bruce Galloway (1981)

So, this is an old RPG book i was gifted, and here i show you a few things about the book and how it fits into gaming history. It's very Old School. Very.

Research showed me the reason for the weird publishing dates: it had a prior edition in the UK under Patrick Stephens Ltd.in 1981. US copies should say 1982.

Further notes:
--White Box DnD was 1974 for first printing.
--Red Box DnD was 1983, first printing, but was preceded by the Magenta and Light Blue 2 years earlier. the one with the huge print run that everyone had their hands on was the Red/Blue boxes. it was edited by Frank Metzner
--so this book was relatively contemporary to the Holmes B/X version, and just preceded the Metzer Red/Blue/Green that most of us ran across.
