🛶 Race the River 2023 - Goliad Paddling Trail promotional video
🛶 The San Antonio River Authority together with the San Antonio River Foundation, invites you to participate in the 3rd installment of the 2023 Race the River competitive paddling race series!
Competitive Canoers and Kayakers are invited to join us on the Goliad Paddling Trail for 18 miles of challenge through one of the wilder stretches of the San Antonio River. Compete alongside experienced adventure paddlers from all over Texas while you push yourself to complete the challenge!
The race will be followed by a gathering to celebrate all participants who completed the challenge and an awards ceremony for top finishers.
🏅 Event Details – September 9th, 2023
Racer Check-in: 8:30am at Riverdale Access Point
Race Start: 10am
Total distance: 18 Miles
-Starting at Goliad Paddling Trail- Riverdale Access Point (N Riverdale Ln, Goliad, TX 77963), racers will sprint by paddle for 18 miles to finish at Branch River Park (445 S Commercial St, Goliad, TX 77963).
-This race will contain only "PRO" classes of racer and is not recommended for beginner kayakers. Click the link below to review the criteria to understand the qualifications for this race.
-Lunch will be provided for all participants and an awards ceremony with prizes for the top three finishers in each category will be held immediately following the race.
