Hello friends, I’m Steve Sandford, you’re watching Dominion Report
I’m going to freestyle this one, and share with you my understanding of the structure of the US government.
Three co-equal branches. Separation of powers.
Executive Branch – includes the Prez, VP, elections every 4 years
Congressional Branch
House of Representatives – 436 elected members – two year terms
Senate – 100 elected members – 6 year terms
Two senators per state – California has about 40 million people, Wyoming has about half a million
Where legislation happens, pres has veto power over legislation
Judicial Branch – judges are nominated by the executive branch and approved by the congressional branch
Federal elections held every 2 years.
In the meantime, stay calm, stay strong, and when required, elbows up.
