As the world warms and extreme weather events multiply, emissions caps and other climate measures have taken on a life-or-death urgency. Encouragingly, more countries are committing to net zero emissions by 2050 — an ambitious goal that requires seismic economic changes. What role can the labor market play in helping achieve them and what challenges lie ahead? Because while the market for green jobs is expanding, getting workers to transition into these jobs is easier said than done.
