WHAT TO DO WHEN A PARENT VISITS - A DAY IN LONDON WITH DAD

Hey guys

So last week, my dad came to visit me from Ireland. We don't get to spend enough time together and certainly not since I moved to the UK 8 years ago!

So instead of twiddling our thumbs and making small talk, I took the day of work and we went to London. I booked us First Class on Virgin Trains, travelling from Birmingham New Street to London Euston on a Thursday and got a great deal!

My dad loves to walk and talk about history, so there is plenty of that.

The St. Pancras Hotel
Covent Garden
Ting at Shangri La Hotel The Shard for afternoon tea

This was a great idea to catch up, sightsee and have some delicious afternoon tea in one of the most awesome vantage points in London.
