HARMONY HEADLANDS STATE PARK CALIFORNIA

Day 3 of my Central California Coastal Hiking Adventure. My first stop this morning was to Harmony Headlands State Park, located in Cayucos, CA. You have to actually park and hike into the headlands to reach the coast. The trail is pretty flat and easy at 4.3 miles round-trip and only 272 feet of elevation gain. The hike in the beginning before I reached the coast was lovely because of all the yellow wildflowers I passed by. Once the trail starts going along the coast with ocean views and the waves crashing into the rocks, it is just magnificent! It's such a great hike to do while driving along the Pacific Coast Highway!
