THE LIZARD PEAK TRAIL LAKE HAVASU ARIZONA

On this outdoor adventure, I am back to do another awesome hike at SARA Park in Lake Havasu, Arizona. This time, I am doing the Lizard Peak Loop Trail! This hike is labeled as moderate at 2.1 miles round trip and 639 ft of elevation gain. There is one section where you do have to do a class 3 scramble to complete the loop. Right before you start your ascent up the mountain, there is a giant lizard 🦎 made of rocks that is truly a work of art! It's a totally great photo opportunity, to say the least! Once you do reach the top of Lizard Peak, you are rewarded with some pretty spectacular views of Lake Havasu, the Colorado River, and Lake Havasu City! I highly recommend you use extra caution on this hike because there are some sketchy parts on this trail.
