DIY Pleated Mini Skirt | Brandy Melville Inspired

I love pleated skirts but could never find one to fit me right. Now I can make aLLLLLLL the pleated skirts in the world. They look amazing on any body size and shape but remember if you have a big bum , you have to make the back longer than the front, try it on and then pin it while on before hemming, cut off the excess and then sew it. Better to have more length to cut off than to to make it too short to start off with.

These skirts remind me of the ones you see at stores like Brandy Melville, Urban Outfitters and Dollskill. It's really easy to make minus the boring ironing but you won't regret making it when you are done.

I went to the store and asked for "Plaid" fabric and this is what I received. I do not know anything more about it other than it's a non stretch tartan plaid.
