Conservative MP Lee Anderson has vowed to tackle migrant boat crossings in the English Channel, saying some of his colleagues were “letting voters down”.

Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, the Ashfield MP said: we got a elected on a ticket of being strong on immigration, protecting our borders, taking back control – all these things that resonated with some of our first time voters - and we must deliver on this.”
