Valley of Prayers

It’s always a pleasure to share the bandstand with the ever dynamic and soulful Tonya Boyd-Cannon. This song was composed specifically for her as part of a celebration of an American Revolt in Louisiana during the year of 1811. Of course, said rebellion resulted in the deaths, by one means of another, of all of the participants, but sometimes folks have to take a stance and commit to the ultimate sacrifice for the benefit of American freedom and democracy!
