In honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, Delfeayo Marsalis and his Party Like It's Mardi! band gave a special performance at the American Museum of Natural History on the afternoon of Saturday, April 28. "We're bringing a Big Easy party to the Big Apple," says Marsalis. "Mardi Gras is one of the greatest celebrations in the world. We're happy to bring it to those who have had a chance to experience it firsthand in Crescent City, as well as those who have yet to experience the real deal." Featured musicians included Davell Crawford, Big Chief Bo Dollis, Jr. of the Wild Magnolias, and Mark "Preacherman" Gross.
