In this video I present information gathered from peer reviewed research articles on compulsive buying disorder. This is the first in a three part series. Part 1 focuses on defining shopping addiction/compulsive buying disorder and discusses some of the consequences of this disorder. Part 2 will focus on the criteria mental health professionals use to diagnose compulsive buying disorder, and part 3 will compare various treatment options available for those suffering from compulsive buying disorder.
