This video series discusses the realities vs. the fantasy of being in a relationship with a Vietnamese woman.

Unlike many existing videos which talk about only the pluses of being with a Vietnamese woman, this one provides a balanced and pragmatic view. It's specifically for an English speaking man who wishes to have a long term relationship and/or marriage to a Vietnamese woman.

This episode reveals:

-- Invisible barriers that can get in the way of open communications
-- Proactive things you can do to create a stronger relationship
-- Subtle differences between Vietnamese women in the US and in Vietnam

Some background: I've been in the States since I am 9 and all of my family [including Vanessa] consider me, because of my perspective and outlook, an American mind in a Vietnamese body. My nickname is "American Junior" since I'm the youngest in the family.

I am bi-lingual, and I am far, far more fluent in English than in Vietnamese. I grew up speaking Vietnamese at home, and I still use it everyday with Vanessa, my siblings and my dad (my mom has passed away). I have 4 sister-in-laws and an older sister so I've been around Vietnamese women all of my life.

I THOUGHT I understood Vietnamese women. That turned out to not be the case.

There were many times when I wished I had a video like this to explain some blind spots. Had I known about them, I could have prevented many misunderstanding and fights.
