Step 2 on your path to recovery! Last time, i made it rain with glorious information on how to sweep pick on that guitar your uncle gave you last year before he got thrown in jail. You learned the essentials of left and right hand technique that are critical for sweeping. But this time ,i'm gonna make it HAIL with a heavy-duty lesson on how to put those concepts into practice and make yourself sound like the next Francis Bubbletrousers! Yes, the VERY one!
We will go over ways to practice the more difficult aspects of sweep picking, including the full/empty technique we talked about last time, and doing rolls with the fret hand. I'm gonna show you how to use a metronome to practice this stuff, cause using a metronome is SMART. Its the whole reason i'm on a first-name basis with my stepmom. Yeah that's right. And lastly we're gonna learn some vital practice routines for sweeping, from 2 strings all the way up to 6! It's gonna get real, kids. Its all for you, Damien.
