MY EASIEST BAKLAVA RECIPE Became New Favorite At Home!
I am going to show you the easiest baklava I've ever made from four balls and using a cookie cutter. We loved it, so easy and delicious and even you can make it with your kids.

Ingredients for easy crescent baklava:
For the dough:
half large egg (whisk the egg lightly and use half)
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup water
30gr. butter at room temperature
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
about 2+1/2 cups flour (add gradually after 2+1/4 cups
to make the layers about 2 cups wheat or corn starch
300gr. coarsely ground walnuts
For the syrup: (In the video it was a bit on the dryer side so I increased the syrup amount a bit) If you like that way keep the amounts for the sherbet like in the video.
2+1/4 cups sugar
1+2/3 cups water
1 tsp lemon juice
Tips:
Make sure you have enough starch between each folding to cover the surface of the dough and shape the doughs one by one.
The baklava sherbet consistency is important. Carefully watch the video and test the sherbet's last drops to see oozing thick consistency.
Bake the baklava at 180C preheated oven for 15 minutes then lower the temp. to 160 and continue to bake until golden and inside is fully baked for about 30-35 more minutes.
Pour hot syrup over hot baklava. If you follow the steps this is the best method to pour the syrup over the baklava.
