Journey behind the scenes with the Rainbow portrait of Elizabeth I and the Bacton Altar Cloth as they are transported through Hampton Court Palace ready for our new exhibition, The Lost Dress of Elizabeth I.

The exhibition explores the incredible discovery of the Bacton Altar Cloth, a hidden Tudor treasure which curators believe once formed part of a dress belonging to Elizabeth I herself.
